Rotterdam - Anthony J. Fusco Jr., 94, of Rotterdam, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his family.
A lifelong Schenectady resident, Tony was employed for 42 years with General Electric retiring in 1984. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Tony was a member of the Rotterdam Elks and served as House Chairman, planning events and parties at the Elks. He was also a member and president of the Rotterdam Seniors, Past President of the Woestina Young at Hearts and was a past member of the Italian Sportsman’s Bowling League. Tony was also an Avid Yankee fan. He and Theresa enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe while she worked on the CSEA Travel Committee.
Tony was predeceased by his beloved wife of 70 years, Theresa Chiacchiaretta Fusco who died in 2018 his son Anthony Fusco and his parents, Anthony and Mary Tariello Fusco.
He is survived by his children, Sandra (Michael) Krawczak, Karen (Timothy) Longo and David (Dawn) Fusco, his grandchildren; Aaron, Adam, Joshua, Zachary and Jeana (Justin) and two great grandchildren; Lennon and Briar.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, 10 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Burial will be private at St. John’s Cemetery.
