Rose Lancaster

Rotterdam, NY. Rose Lancaster, 99 of Princetown Road, Rotterdam, NY passed away peacefully in the loving comfort of family and hospice.
Rose was born in Schenectady NY, daughter of Giuseppe and Angelina (Binardi) Costello. She worked briefly at General Electric before getting married and raising her family.
Survivors include her son, Thomas (Paula) Lancaster and daughter Theresa (Gerald) O'Connor, along with her grandchildren Michael Lancaster, Daniel Lancaster, Paul Lancaster, Keith O'Connor and Melissa Smith. Great Grandchildren, Michael Lancaster, Jr., Taylor Lancaster, Mia Lancaster, Elijah Lancaster, Xander O'Connor, Mila O'Connor, Michael O'Connor and Morgan O'Connor and 3 great, great grandchildren, Logan, Roman and Lainey, along with several nieces and nephews.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, George Lancaster, Jr., her son, George Lancaster III, her grandson, George Lancaster IV, her granddaughter Allison Lynn Lancaster, and 11 brothers and 2 sisters.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank her wonderful aides and caregivers who took care of her for the last 6 months, Melissa Smith, Crystal Ebert, Morgan O'Connor and Kaylee Conaway.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at the Demarco Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave Schenectady, NY from 10-12pm. A Funeral service will be held at 12pm at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
