Scotia - Linda Ann (Ferrante) Cervera, 76, passed quietly at her home in Scotia on December 22nd, 2020.

Born in Schenectady, Linda graduated from Draper High School in 1962 and the Gorman Cosmetology School, where she later taught courses. Before she retired, she worked at Dottie’s Smart Set on Upper Union Street in Schenectady. Her lively personality brought laughter and joy to longtime patrons. She cared for those around her and showed that affection with food. She baked cookies and prepared meals for everyone in her life, from family and friends to bank tellers and nurses.

Linda loved being a grandmother and supported her grandchildren at their concerts, sports, and school events. If not present, she was always a phone call away. It brought her great happiness to be involved in their lives and she treasured every moment she had with her grandkids.

Her fun-loving spirit and generosity earned her many friends throughout her life and she will forever be remembered. She will be especially missed by her dear supportive friend Patti Pardi.

Linda will join her beloved parents Domenico and Viola (Gaudio) Ferrante in heaven. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Caryn (Cervera) Huber and Lori (Cervera) Clarke (Matthew) and her former husband Bill Cervera; her cherished grandchildren, Julia Huber, Jack Huber, James Clarke and Jordon Clarke; her caring sisters, Janice (Ed)  Zadrozny and Michele Guzzo (Jim) Faddegon, as well as many adoring cousins, nieces and nephews. She shared a special bond with her late cousin Arlene (Ferrante) Parisi.

Linda’s family would like to thank Dr. John Pezzulo for his care, compassion and support.
