Donald P. Regula

Rotterdam – Donald P. Regula, 96, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday October 7, 2026. Born February 12, 1930 in Westwood, New Jersey, he was the son the late Albert and Vera (Wilber) Regula.

A 1947 graduate of Westwood High School Donald went on to graduate from Cornell University in 1951 and then Cornell Medical School in 1955. He then moved to Schenectady, NY with his wife for his medical residency and established his OB/GYN practice, which lasted over 60 years until his retirement.

Donald shared a wonderful 41 year marriage to his wife, Marilyn C. Regula, until her passing.

Donald enjoyed living and working on the family farm in Princetown, NY for over 56 years. He also enjoyed reading, woodworking, gardening and traveling around the country in their motorhome. His favorite fishing spot was the outer Banks, NC.

He was the loving father of Donald Regula Jr., Thomas (Gina) Regula, Patricia (Timothy) Wilcox and Michael (Kristen) Regula.

He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren Adam, Charlotte, TJ and Mackenzie as well as his 4 great grandchildren Alexandra, Peter, Lachlan and Parker.

A memorial service and private burial will be planned at a later date so all family members can attend.
