Margaret M. Case

Margaret M. Case, age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2026, at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn with her loving family by her side. Margaret was born on June 22nd, 1950, in Albany, NY to the late Florence (Daytor) Winnie.

Margaret was a kind and beautiful soul, who loved her family with all her heart. She had immense love for all of her pets, especially her cats, and greatly enjoyed flowers and drawing pictures in her free time.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, John W. Case, III; her 4 daughters, Wendy Walsh, Michelle (James) Walsh-Thiessen, Tonia (Michael) Hopkins, and Selena (Joseph) Fish; and her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret was also the sibling to 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Margaret is predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Giovannone.

The family would like to thank all of those who helped Margaret during her longtime struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam, NY.

A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be held in Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam, NY.
