Joseph Wright, 34 of Northampton, MA, formerly of Syracuse, NY died suddenly onMonday March 10, 2014. Joe attended Syracuse City Schools.He loved to travel, starting out when he was just 16.Joe got to see much of our country and met many friends.He was employed as a carpenter in Northampton. He enjoyed the art of jewelry making.Joe took great pleasure in music and enjoyed playing and listening passionately, he also had a great passion for good food and enjoyed preparing specialized meals and had occasion to meet some renowned cooks.He was an avid fan of SU and Boston. Joe was predeceased by his father Donn Wright, who died in 2009. He is survived by his mother Margaret Larson, sister Nicole Wright, both of Syracuse, NY, his brother, David Wright (Dr. Kathleen Farrell) of Webster, NH, 3 grandparents Ruth Larson, Elaine Voss and George Wright, all Schenectady, NY, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 to 11:30 am, at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam, New York 12306. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 11:30 am. Burial will be private.
