Rotterdam – Jacqulyn Anne Cieszynski, 67, passed away at home on Tuesday March 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of John W. Little Jr. and Doris (Miron) Little. Jacqulyn was a dedicated employee of Schenectady City School District for 30 years retiring in 2016. At Pleasant Valley Elementary School she was knownas the “Matriarch”, and the “Jackie of All Trades”. She also was the owner of Wonderland Child Care with her Best friend Nancy for 25 years retiring in 2020. Jacqulyn impacted many childrens' lives. Not only the children but also their families. Jacqulyn loved to be outdoors and loved to be by any type of water. She was an animal lovermaking sure to always leave carrots for the bunnies outside. She is survived by her devotedhusband Thomas M. Cieszynski. Her two children Chad Cieszynski and Lori Pistana. Her four siblings Mickie Smith, Kimberly (Lee) Sumner, Patrick (Susan) Little and Christopher (Maggie) Little. Jacqulyn is also survived by her best friends Nancy Favata and Pam Eady. She also leaves behind her fur son “Baby Boy” Duke. Along with her parents Jacqulyn was predeceased by her step mother Patricia Little. The family extends their special thanks to Community Hospice and her aide Dennise D’Amelio for giving Jacqulyn such loving care. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4-7pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 8:15am Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 9am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke’s Church 1241 State St., Schenectady. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made in Jacqulyn's memory to the Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302
