Tammy Lynn (Walker) Almy

Tammy Lynn Walker Almy, 50, of Rotterdam, died on Monday, January 22, 2018, due to heart complications, at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Tammy graduated from Mohonasen High School in 1985. She was employed as a Hairdresser at various salons in the area. Tammy was predeceased by her father, George W. Walker and her brother, John W. Walker. She is survived by her beloved mother, Ethel Walker of Schenectady, her partner of 10 years; Robert Suitto of Rotterdam, her brother; James Walker of Rotterdam, her sister; Debbie (Anthony) Perretta of Rotterdam and nieces; Jennifer and Ashley. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, from 11 am to 12 noon at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. followed at 12 noon by funeral services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery.
