Rotterdam – Sylvia J. Anunziatta, 86, passed away peacefully at the Eddy Village Green on Monday, March 22nd, 2021.
Sylvia was born in Forest City, PA to her parents, the late John Christina and Sylvia (Telban) Christina.
She graduated with honors from Mont Pleasant High School and went on to work as a legal secretary at several law firms in Schenectady.
Sylvia is a former member of St. Gabriel’s Church. She was an avid reader, especially enjoying a good mystery novel.
In her younger years, Sylvia enjoyed spending time in Florida and taking trips back to Forest City to visit with her cousin.
Sylvia was predeceased in 2008 by her husband of 46 years, James Anunziatta as well as her brother, John Christina.
She leaves behind her children, James Anunziatta, John Anunziatta, Joanne Bernardi (Gerald) and Jennifer Kelly (Gene); grandchildren, Michelle, Nicholas, Tyler, Ian and Matthew; in addition to several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Sylvia will be laid to rest next to her husband at Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.
Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes for their care of Sylvia, especially the shahbazim in House 3.
