Obituary

Delanson - Nolan Edward McHugh, beloved son of Lisa and William McHugh, left this world on May 7, 2022, to be with God in his Kingdom and to finally know true peace and joy.

He was born on March 31, 1994 in Schenectady. He was a graduate of Duanesburg Senior High School, attended Hudson Valley Community College and briefly worked before illness. As a boy, he loved playing basketball, listening to and making music, tying fly fishing lures, collecting Pokémon cards, his pets and being with his friends. Most of all he loves his brother Patrick so dearly. We love him immeasurably.

His is preceded in death by his great grandmother Eva J. DeMania, his grandfather, Edward M. DeMania, his grandmother Muriel E. McHugh, his uncle Timothy K. McHugh and his uncle Thomas K. McHugh. He is survived by his parents, Lisa and William McHugh, his brother Patrick (fiancée Connelly Holmes) of Albany, his grandfather William E. McHugh of Raleigh, NC, his grandmother Barbara J. DeMania, his uncle Michael E. DeMania of Irvine, CA and his uncle Terrence K. McHugh of Troy, MI. He is also survived by numerous, loving cousins whom he adored.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks for donations to be made in Nolan's name to Mohawk Opportunities of Schenectady, whose staff worked tirelessly with Nolan and our family.
