Schenectady- MaryLouise Mudrey-Sisto “MaryLou”, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 07, 2020. She was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Lawrence LaPier and Elizabeth Dunn LaPier. She was married to her late first husband, John Mudrey and her late second husband Francis Sisto. She was educated at Holy Name High School in Cleveland, and the Cleveland School of Art. She was employed at the May Co. and the Kresge Co. in Cleveland. She was a Teacher’s Aide of Jefferson School in NY, a Coordinator of religious education at Our Lady of Assumption Church- now known as Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, she was a Eucharistic Minister, Religious Teacher, and a member of the Rosary Society. She is survived by her children; Lawrence (Susan) Mudrey, Joseph Mudrey, Anne (Richard) Snyder, step children, Frances (Jack) Gilson, grandchildren; Sarah Eberly, Danielle (Kevin) Gill, Jessica (Ryan) Nicklaw, Jenny (Steve), Courtney (Victor), Jacques (Ron), great-granchildren; Christopher Eberly, and Olivia, special nieces and nephew; Lisa (Bill) Wilczak, Susan (Frank) Kuchis, and Edward Cook, her loving K-9 companion, Brady, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth, her first husband, John, her second husband, Francis, her brother, Richard LaPier, and her sister, Frances Cook. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 8:30am-10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Schenectady, NY 12306. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Schenectady. In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made in MaryLou’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to Animal Protective Services Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Schenectady, NY 12302.
