Maria Mastroianni Tote

Rotterdam-Mary “Maria “ Mastroianni- Tote, 79, of Rotterdam has gone to be with the Lord On October 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1938 in Pianopoli, Italy. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina Mastroianni. Her beloved husband Gino predeceased her in 1986. Mary was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and member of the Rosary Society. Mary enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, wintering in Florida, and spending time with her loving grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her Yankees and the occasional trip to the casino. Mary leaves behind her children Teresa (Rocco) Caschera, Sante Tote, Rosanna ( Richard) Olsen, and Joseph (Michelle) Tote, all of Rotterdam. Her seven grandchildren, Peter Caschera, Giuseppe (Kristen) Caschera, Gino and Trevor Tote, and Shawnee, Dylan and Jacob Olsen. Mary is also survived by her sister Eleanora Donato and brother Anthony (Nancy) Mastroianni, Brother in Law Amedeo (Italia) Tote, Sister in Law Josephine Tote and many nieces and nephews. Mary was also predeceased by her brothers in law Guerino Donato and Domenico Tote and Nieces Maria Donato and Anne Neach. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home at 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam on Sunday November 5, 2017 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services on Monday Nov 6, at 8:15 AM at the funeral home. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Schenectady. Interment at Evergreen Mausoleum, Central Ave, Colonie. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Society and/or American Breast Cancer.
