Rotterdam – Lottie A. Cislo LaRoe, 87, passed away Sunday July 31, 2022 .
Born in Amsterdam on June 26, 1935, she was the Daughter of Jacob and Ann (Stempien), Cislo. Lottie graduated from Amsterdam High School and went on to work @ General Electric in Schenectady as a stenographer. After raising her children, she continued her career at Bellevue Builders where she later retired. Lottie was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Lottie enjoyed going to daily mass, where she and “The Breakfast Club” would meet afterwards at the diner where good times were always had.
Lottie had a special lasting friendship with “The Fab Five” and will miss them dearly. She will also miss all of her dear friends and new friendships over the last several years while living at the Carmen Senior Center.
She now joins her loving husband of 55 years, William "Bill" LaRoe, whom she married on June 9, 1957 and passed away on May 19, 2013.
She is survived by her three children; Holly (Steve) Longo, Michelle (Bill) Reese and Bill (Gina) LaRoe.
Her ten grandchildren; Nicole (Jeff), Brian, Kyle (Kristina), Cameron (Aaron), Kayla, Megan, Kirsten, Liam, Aidan, Casey and her three great grandchildren; Kendra, Keyara, and Christopher.
Lottie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Cindy Pelletier, her sisters Mary, Francis, Regina, Helen, Theresa. Her brothers John, and Stanley.
A Mass of Christian Burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church where Lottie was a communicant.
It is requested there be no calling hours.
Burial, will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Rotterdam.
