Rotterdam - Judith Ann (Poselovic) Longo, 85, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 after a long illness with her devoted sons by her side.

Born in Schenectady, New York on November 3, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph C. Poselovic and Olga (Franceschini) Poselovic and was a lifetime area resident. Judith is also predeceased by her former husband, Frederick L. Longo, Sr.

Judith (Judy) attended Schenectady schools and at the early age of 14 secured her first after school job to help her Mom maintain the household. Judy was very committed at a young age and continued to work after school at Union College, Geology & Paleontology Department until she graduated from the former Nott Terrace High School in 1955. After graduating high school, Judy worked at The NYS Division of Youth and the General Electric Company. Judy then worked in various departments for many years as a dedicated employee of The Golub Corporation until her retirement in 2003.

Judy was very active in her four sons’ activities throughout their youth and as adults. She supported their Little League baseball games, motorcycle races and was always their biggest fan. In addition to her love of family, Judy will be remembered for her delicious cooking and baking talents, she was an excellent seamstress, sewing many of her fashionable clothes and for her love of gardening, growing flowers and being outdoors. Judy loved sports and played softball on the Mariaville Market Babes. Judy was also an avid fan of NFL Quarterback Tom Brady. Judy will always be remembered for her lifetime love and absolute devotion to her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her four sons, Stephen F. (Holly) Longo, Greenfield, NY, Timothy J. (Karen) Longo, Rotterdam, NY, Michael P. Longo, Niskayuna, NY, Frederick L.
