Charlene Daggett Lowery

Charlene Daggett Lowery, 59 of Schenectady, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Ellis Hospital. Charlene was born in Albany and graduated from Guilderland High School in 1972. She was employed by the NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance in Albany for many years and retired in 2013. Charlene loved to travel."Sometimes she would just get in her car and drive somewhere, find a restaurant to eat, and drive home". She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Rose Severino Daggett, and her daughter, Dawnie Marie Lowery. Charlene is survived by her children, Ricky Savage Jr. of Schenectady and Shannon Tavernia, also of Schenectady, her brother, Frank Daggett Jr. (Sally) of Huntersville, NC., and her sister, Eloise Aragona (Daniel) of Scotia and was "Nana" toher beloved grandchildren, Ricky Savage III and Ryah Savage. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11 am -1 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 1 pm.
