Mariaville - Caroll A. Weakley, 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Caroll was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. She was happily employed for over 20 years as the friendly cashier at Sal’s Quality Meat Market in Rotterdam. Caroll enjoyed taking bus trips and gambling at her favorite casinos, Mohegan Sun and Turning Stone. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Cora (Walker) MacVilla, her brother, James MacVilla and sister, Holly MacVilla. Caroll is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, James A. Weakley, children, James T. “Terry” Clark of Mariaville, Walter L. Clark of Schenectady, Christine Clark of Scotia, Jodi (Scott) Bukowski of Mariaville, James Weakley Jr. of Maryland and Johanna (Joe) Nolan of Broadalbin, her brother Albert “Thomas” MacVilla of Rotterdam and grandchildren, Chelsea Fortune of Mariaville, Cameren Bukowski , also of Mariaville, Sarah Rose of Schenectady, David Rose Jr. of Scotia, Casey Nolan, Carey Nolan, Cady Nolan and Carley Nolan, all of Broadalbin. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Mariaville Volunteer Fire Department at 9284 Mariaville Rd.
