William W Smylie

Rotterdam-William W. " Bill" Smylie, 89, at rest Sunday February 17, 2013. Bill was a lifelong area resident. He served in the Navy during WWII. He was employed for many years as a Monotype Printer at the Maqua Co. in Schenectady and was later employed at General Electric. Bill was the beloved husband of Marie L. Smylie whom he married in 1963; beloved father of Steven Smylie; loving grandfather of Christopher Smylie. A calling period will be held Thursday February 21 from 12 to 2 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. Burial will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
