William C. Simonds

William Simonds, 77, passed away on Friday July 5, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1946 to the late Everett and Virginia Simonds. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He loved the Buffalo Bills and the Yankees. And he especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

William is survived by his sons, Michael (Kim) Simonds and Joseph Simonds; stepdaughter, Jessica Townsend; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Beau, Mackenzie, Brandon Simonds, Anthony and Jakai Townsend, Oliviana Townsend-Hernandez, and Kaedance Dodd; his great-granddaughter, Stella Simonds; his brother, Jim (Sue) Simonds; and his nephew, Jimmy (Kristen) Simonds and their son Jimmy.

The family would like to thank the Schenectady Center, Willow Unit.

William has been privately cremated. Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday July 27th from 2 to 4pm, followed by a memorial service at 4pm.
