William F Mahar Jr

Valatie- William F. Mahar Jr., 84, of Valatie, died peacefully on September 24, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in Albany on July 6, 1937, William (Bill) was the son of the late William F. Mahar Sr. and Alice (Gorham) Mahar. Bill leaves behind his devoted wife, Huili Mahar and is survived by his loving children, Teri Gallucci (Glenn) of Rotterdam, Darcee Pantaz (Alex) of Brunswick, Maine and Mark Mahar (Cindy) of Texas. He is also survived by his twin sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Hagadorn of Apalachin, NY, George Mahar of Phoenix, Arizona; the late, John (Jack) Mahar of Phoenix, AZ, Helen Safranek of Las Vegas, Nevada, Catherine Opalka of Latham, NY and Edward Mahar of Watervliet, NY; Six grandchildren, William (Billy) Mahar, Briana Gallucci, Dante Gallucci, Eli Pantaz, Audrey Pantaz and Bess Pantaz; along with three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. To honor our beloved’s wishes, there will be no services. A “Celebration of Life” will be held privately with immediate family at a later date.
