Wayne R. Brown, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, at Ellis Hospital in the company of his loving family. Wayne was born on December 2nd, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Richard and Evelyn (Jennings) Brown.
Wayne retired from the Department of the U.S. Navy in 2002, after proudly serving his country for many years with immense honor and valor. He loved his family fiercely, and especially treasured spending time with the “fam.” Wayne also loved tending to his garden, relaxing in his pool, playing golf, and cruising along Sacandaga Lake in his beautiful sailboat.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his wife, Roberta, his son, Greg, and his daughter, Debbie.
Wayne is survived by his beloved daughter, Lisa Keosaian (Dave); his granddaughters, Victoria Dunston, Ashley Colacino (Mike), Alisha Kuder, and Katelynn Brown; his great-grandchildren, Jonah, Madison, Carson, Hailey, Sal, and Reagan; his daughter-in-law, Allison Brown; and his nephew, David Shepard.
A Graveside Service for Wayne will be announced at a later date.
