Warren Hatch Clement

Warren Hatch Clement, 86, passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Thursday, November 21, 2024, with his loving daughter at his side.  Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Virginia “Jean” (Hall) Clement and King Matthew Clement, Sr. of Albany, NY.   He was happily married for 49 years to Marie (Schleder) Clement.  Together with his wife they enjoyed living in Guilderland in a house he built.  Warren followed the footsteps of his grandfather, father and brother into the food service business.  Warren was an excellent chef working in many restaurants and country clubs in the area as well as serving as the dietary director at Teresian House.  He was an active member of the American Culinary Association.  Throughout his life he enjoyed sports, especially playing basketball in an Albany city league earlier in life and later in a plus 50 men’s league.  He also enjoyed golfing and pool.  He enjoyed going to the local YMCA and then for coffee to Stewarts with his buddies.  In addition to his parents, Warren was predeceased by his wife Marie.

He is survived by their daughter Anna Marie and son-in-law Mitchell Kupinski, grandson Justin Kupinski and his wife Alisa and great-grandsons Theodore and William.  He is also survived by his sister Dixie Lawrence of Clifton Park NY, brother King (Heidi) Clement, Jr. of Port Charlotte, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 4th from 10 to 11:30am at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Tpke, Guilderland, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. He will then be interred at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Community Hospice Inn, 315 S.
