Virginia D (Bianco) Palmerino

d. March 28, 2013

Virginia D. Palmerino, 94, formerly of Evergreen Ave. was reunited with her husband Amos in heaven on Thursday, March 28, 1013 with her loving children by her side. Virginia was a resident of the Teresian House for the past 9 years where she was loved and cared for. Born on June 13, 1918 to the late Giavanne and Giavanni Iannelli Bianco, she was the youngest of 10 children, and the last living sibling. Virgie's greatest love was her husband and family. Her outgoing personality would make whoever met her fall in love with her. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1937. After high School, she worked for the American Laundry and later was employed by General Electric until she left to raise her 3 children. Later in life she worked for NYS Custodial Services and retired from the cafeteria staff at Draper School District. Virginia was active in the Rosary Society at (OLA) Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, and served on the Rotterdam Little league and Babe Ruth auxillary boards. Her interests included summers at Saratoga Race Track with her husband and family, Sunday night BINGO and her flower garden. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband Amos, whom she married on September 27, 1946. Virginia is survived by her children; Linda A. (Joseph) Fingerhut, Amy (Louis) Ferraro and John (Denise) Palmerino, six grandchildren; Joseph (Kendra) Fingerhut, Noelle (Michael) Angelozzi, Lindsey (Robert) Palluti, Jaimee Lynn Fingerhut, Nicholas (Lindsay Waddell) Ferraro and Brionna Palmerino, her great grandchildren, Jahnna Palluti, Baylee Fingerhut, Kayla Palluti, Gianna Angelozzi, Vincenza Angelozzi, Avery Fingerhut, Dominick Ferraro and many nieces and nephews.
