Vincent S Paone

Schenectady – Vincent S. Paone, 58, passed away Monday March 5, 2018 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady he was the son of late Joseph and Rachel Franco Paone. Educated in Schenectady Schools Vince went on to work for the Schenectady City School District for 36 years retiring in 2016. He was currently employed at Wedekind Motors in Schenectady. A long time coach at Northside Little League Vince was an avid Celtics, Yankees and Phil Mickelson fan. He loved Saratoga Race track especially the family fun day. He also loved to travel and take cruise vacations. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Lombardo Paone. His two children; Joseph S. Paone and Jessica Paone. Two sisters; JoAnn Paone and MaryAnn & Mickey Mannato. Nieces and nephew; Michele (Chris) Evans, Heather (Joe) DeFilippo and Christopher (Amanda) Mannato. Brother-in-law; Michael (Kerry) Lombardo and family. Vince is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Frank Russo Jr. and his mother-in-law, Virginia Lombardo. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 10 am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glenville. Memorial contributions may be made in Vince’s memory, in honor of his great niece Rachel, to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O.
