Vanda M (Perillo) Gizzi

Rotterdam – Vanda M. Gizzi, 88, passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 29, 2019. Born in Benevento, Italy, she was the daughter of Gabriel and Maria Perillo. Vanda came to the United States in 1962. She was a homemaker and will be remembered as cherishing her time that was spent with family. Her husband of 40 years, Anthony Gizzi, passed away in 2006. She is survived by her sister, Vilma Marone of Australia. Vanda is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her siblings, Frank, Anthony, Theresa and Eleanora. A calling hour will be held Friday from 8:30-9:30 am at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
