Burnt Hills, NY In the home he built and surrounded by his adoring family, Trieste Vincenzo Savona surrendered into Gods loving arms on Monday, March 11, 2013.Born in Schenectady, NY on August 24, 1960, he was the proud son of Antonio and Lena Savona both of Frosinone, Italy.Trieste married his beautiful wife, Denise on August 6, 1994 and enjoyed 18 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He was an avid hunter, loved football and made for many memorable four-somes on the golf course.He was a Master Story Teller, recalling details of memories with unparalleled humor.He worked by his father's side making sausage before he followed his dream of architecture.For 23 years Trieste worked at the The Golub Corporation where he ultimately became Manager of Design.His loyalty devotion and friendship toward his coworkers will be sorely missed.While our hearts are broken and a void so large surrounds us, it was through the power of immense prayer that we witnessed Trieste's passing. Trieste is survived by his loving wife, Denise (Caruso) and 3 children Alyssa (D'Amato) and Robert Bufe, Cassandra and Antonio Savona.He is predeceased by his father Antonio Savona and is survived by his doting mother Lena Savona, loving sister Rita (Savona) and Richard Beerle and his devoted brother Leo Savona who stayed by his side and for whom we are forever grateful.Leo's love for his brother and his care and comfort during the past year was God's gift to Trieste.He is also survived by Vern and Robin (Caruso) Welsh, Richard and Sharon Caruso, Peter Caruso Jr., and in-laws Joyce and Bill Brandenburg, Peter Caruso has well as many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the wonderful team of doctors at Dana Farber: Dr. David Barbie, Dr. Raymond Mak, Dr. Florencia Halperin and Dr. Lakshmi Nayak whose passion and devotion in fighting for a cure is to be commended.Special thanks to Neil Golub and family for all their assistance and caring.The family is forever grateful for those friends who worked so hard to hold such a truly memorable benefit in his honor and to Tom Hayden who ran the Boston Marathon.
