Timothy J Martin Sr.

Timothy was born January 1, 1958 in Schenectady, NY, son of Harrison Sr. and Patricia Martin. He was a jack of all trades; a Marine, plumber, electrician, drug and alcohol counselor, cook, and worked at Ellis for many years. He was a family man by definition and that was his proudest accomplishment; there wasn't a time you didn't hear him brag about one of his children or grandchildren, they were the love of his life. He enjoyed his coffee, pizza, the Yankees, the Buffalo Bills, and his country music- specifically, George Jones "The Possum".

Survivors include mother of his children: Kathleen Martin of Schenectady, NY. Sons: Timothy Martin Jr (Gabrielle); Michael Martin (Jessica) of Schenectady, NY; and Jason Martin (Jennifer) of Rotterdam, NY. Brothers: Gerald Martin; Eugene Martin (Kim); Michael Martin (Ann) of Schenectady, NY; Steven Martin (Lani) of Banden, Oregon; and Jeffrey Martin (Kathleen) of Schenectady, NY. Sisters: Delia Boila; Susan Knight (Michael) of Pattersonville, NY. Nine grandchildren: Miranda Anderson, Tyler Leger, Timothy Martin III, Julianna Martin, Michael Martin Jr., Ryan Martin, Logan Clark, Devin Martin, and Ariella Martin. Great-Grandchild; Kalani Taylor. And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Harrison Martin Jr and David Martin; Late wife: Eileen Scully.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday August 18, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Demarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave, Schenectady.
