Timothy E Kinzel

Schenectady- Timothy E. Kinzel, 56, passed away suddenly on November 6, 2014. He was born on October 13, 1958 the beloved son of the late Paul and Valerie Piotrowski Kinzel. Tim was a 1976 Graduate of Mont Pleasant For 36 years Tim was employed with Price Chopper in the Produce Department. He was a loving family man spending countless hours coaching his children in sports, softball basketball football and swimming. He greatly enjoyed vacationing on Sacandaga Lake and at Wildwood Crest. Tim was an avid sportsman who was passionate about his teams the Boston Red Soxsand the New England Patriots. He loved to bowl with his team every Thursday Night City Catholic League and loved to play golf. He coached for the Schenectady High School Girls Softball team for over 20 years and the Schenectady GirlsRecreational Softball team , the Schenectady Little League and for the Scotia Little League. Tim is survived by his wife of 33 years AnnMarie DeJohn Kinzel,their children Sarah Kinzel, Nicole (Michael) Lanaro, Victoria Kinzel and Matthew Kinzel all of Schenectady, his brothers Paul (Dottie) Kinzel Jr. and Richard (Jan) Kinzel and his sister Connie Kinzel Anderson and his mother in law Evelyn DeJohn... And many nieces nephews aunts uncles and cousins. Tim will lovingly be remembered as a loving devoted husband father brother uncle coach and friend. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Sunday November 9 2014 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Funeral services will begin on Monday November 10 2014 at 8:15 am at the funeral home. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am at St Luke's Church Schenectady. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Niskayuna.
