Thomas M. Heath “Tommy”, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday January 11, 2019. Born in Troy, NY to Thomas F. Heath and Patricia Heath, Schisler. He was married to Joyce Brush Heath. He spent his entire life in the Capital region. He graduated with the class of 1974 from Mohonasen High School. He spent many years working in building maintenance. Recently over the past several years, he worked with the Schoharie Central School District as a bus driver. He was a proud member of the Middleburg Rod and Gun club. As an avid outdoorsman, he loved camping, fishing, riding on his four-wheeler, and hunting in the woods. He was a fan of the Yankees. He listened to all kinds of music, mostly classic rock. He loved spending time at Camp Wadduhweenoh. He received the Safe Driver Award from the School district after calmly handling a situation that saved many school children aboard his bus. He enjoyed the sound of laughter. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his loving mother Patricia Heath, Schisler, his caring wife Joyce, his devoted children; Jeff(Kim) Heath, Melissa (Dan) Mosbey, and Kelly Heath, his grandchildren; Kayla, Morgan, Dylan, James, Ryan, Madison, Jayden, Kaden, and Jordyn, his brothers; Bill, Bob(Gaye), Mike, and Jim(Tina), his sisters; Cathy, Pat, and Donna, many friends at Camp who were just like family to him, especially the Oppelts, and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas F. Heath, and his brothers-in-law; Bill and Chuck. Calling hours will be held from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Demarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Schenectady, NY 12306. A service will follow at 12pm at the Funeral Home.
