Schenectady – Terri Marie James, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. Terri was born in Schenectady and attended Mont Pleasant High School. She was the daughter of the late William and Ada Graham. Terri was a natural helper and care giver, working at Scotia Manor for several years as an aide and cook- a job she truly enjoyed. She more recently worked in housekeeping at the Quality Inn in Schenectady. Terri loved attending family gatherings and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her loved ones. She also had a big sweet tooth and loved candy and ice cream. In Terri’s spare time she enjoyed playing games on her tablet, collecting clowns and Tweety bird things and she also found joy in her mornings spent with her beloved cat, Callie. Terri leaves behind her children, Wayne James (Jennifer), Tiffany Ladd and Timothy Ladd (Meaghan); her sisters, Patricia Graham, Linda Pursko, Anna Graham and Alice Belle; her brothers, Robert Graham, Ronald Graham, Paul Graham, John Graham as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents the was predeceased by one sister, Bonnie Graham and one brother, Douglas Graham. A calling hour will be held on Friday from 11am-12pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam and will be followed at 12pm by a funeral service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and reminded that masks are required while inside the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Terri’s family to go toward her funeral expenses.
