d. October 10, 2020

Rotterdam - Terrance “Terry” LaCette, 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Terry was born in Hillsborough, Florida. He went to Linton Highschool and right after became Terry the Tile Guy for 36 years and owner of Rotterdam Tile Co. INC. Terry held high standards for his work and was blessed with loyal workers. Terry had an aura when he walked into a room you felt it. He was generous, forgiving and a lover of life. His children and grandchildren were the center of his entire world. Since highschool Melissa was his “one and only”. They shared a love like no other, he always said he was never as happy and content as he was when he was with her. He cherished all his time spent at Delorey’s Restaurant and Bar and the memories made with any and all. He lived life to the fullest and everyone considered him a true “Delorian.” He loved his PLP (parking lot people). You met him and you instantly loved him, he left a mark on this world and on the hearts of everyone who crossed paths with him like no other. He will truly be missed. He was always living on Terry time. Terry was predeceased by his parents Jean Rivers and William LaCette, his daughter Rachael LaCette and his sister, Tracy Lacette.
