Terese "Terry" E (Maloney) Skoda

Rotterdam – TereseE. Skoda, 65, passed away at home on Saturday, May 7th, 2022. Terry was born in Niskayuna, the daughter of the late Edward J. Maloney and Jeanne A. Riley Maloney. Terry worked for several years as a caseworker at Social Security and more recently worked as a medical transported for Vardine Para Medical Transport in Glenville. An avid reader, Terry also enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She enjoyed camping, especially at Thompson’s Lake and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Terry will be remembered for her warm smile, her beautiful singing voice and her generosity, graciousness and her outstanding ability to be there for her loved ones. She leaves behind her daughters, Shannon Denegar and Cristin Tavernia (Bryan); grandsons, Sean Skoda and Tyler Denegar; siblings, Chuck Maloney (Maryann) and Bridget Maloney (John) as well as many close extended family members, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Terry was predeceased by her husband, Paul B. Skoda and her siblings, Tim and Tom Maloney. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 16th at 11am at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Terry will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
