Tammy A (Polanski) Maxon

Rotterdam – Tammy A. Maxon, 49, passed away on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Tammy was the daughter of the late Walter and Jeanne (Ciccone) Polanski. Tammy graduated from Mont Pleasant High School where she earned the award for fastest typist in the 12th grade. For 30 years Tammy worked for the NYS Thruway Authority. Tammy loved spending time at home with her husband, Jerry and their 2 dogs, Holly and Cookey. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Besides her parents, Tammy was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Gerald “Jerry” N. Maxon who passed away in January as well as her sister, Maria Butkiewicz and brother, John Polanski. She leaves behind one sister, Sonia Polanski and many nieces and nephews. Following Tammy’s wishes there will be no services.
