Susan Henningson

Susan M. Henningson nee Davolio Englehart born in Schenectady July 26, 1944 to Madeline and Andrew Davolio Passed away peacefully in to the loving arms of God On January 5 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She wasa graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Worked several clerical jobs retiring from NYSDEC where at the front desk she was the face of region 4 office. Before her illness suan was active in sports from volley ball to cross country skiing. She was very talented with a shotgun. She became a skillful fly fisher. She loved to travel to Vermont. Suan was a wise and multitalented person, a lover of animals especially dogs and was a skilled trainer of retrievers. She was a resource for all things canine to all her knew her. She was generous , thoughtful and a protector of those who couldny speak for themselves. She as resource for other cancer patients and a friend and mentor to those stricken with cancer. She was often said of the disease however terrible brought her to make the most wonderful friends. She is survived by her husband Arthur, her daughter Alina and Bryan Bobar of New Bedford NH and two grandchildren Alexandra and Jacob who were her joy and treasure. She is also survived by her sister Andrea and Robert Rowley of Rotterdam and a brother Richard Kopper of Van Nuys Ca.and several nephews. Tejhre are no services.
