Susan (Riggi) Gardino

Schenectady – Susan Gardino, 93, formerly of Duane Ave., passed away Tuesday January 2, 2018. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of Angelo and Marietta Riggi. A lifelong Schenectady resident, Susan retired from St. Clare’ Hospital after many years of service. She is survived by her two children, Sharon DeVivo and Danny Gardino. Three grandchildren, Wendy Gardino, Danny Gardino and Michele DeVivo. Her great granddaughter, Brittany Houck and her four great great grandchildren, Connor, Hailey, Griffin and Nolan Houck. Her sister, Marion Cammerene and her brother, Tony (Gloria) Riggi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Susan was predeceased by her husband, Frank Gardino and her siblings, Carmela Rosen, Joseph Riggi, Mary Polimeni and Frank Riggi. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
