Susan (Pavoldi) Bennett

Schenectady- Susan Pavoldi Bennett, 58, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, December 9, 2013. Susan was born in Schenectady. She was the daughter of the late James L. and Reaffeala"Lou" Larizza Pavoldi. Susan was a graduate of Mohonasen High School. She was aBorn Again Christian.A singer and songwriter, Susan expressed her love of The Lord through her music. She wrote and performed a repertoire of 150 songs, including an album recorded in 1999 by her group Living Hope. Susan also authored a children's book entitled Little Lamb, with accompanying music. Susan was a lover of nature and animals. Over the years she owned several horses that she greatly enjoyed. She also very much loved her cats, and feeding the birds in her garden sanctuary. Susan had a special bond and love for her mother "Lou". Since 1977 Susan has been married to her best friend Michael "Mickey" Bennett. She is the beloved sister of Lucille Poteralski of Schenectady, James (Hannah) Pavoldi of Princetown, Carol (David) Giardenelli of Delanson, Janice (Bruce) Martin of Rotterdam; She is survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 12, from5 pm to 7:30 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 7:30pm. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
