Steven D O'Riley

Guilderland - Steven D. O'Riley, 63, of Guilderland, died unexpectedlyon Sunday, January 1, 2023. Born in Milton, MA, Steven was the son of the late John and Audrey Teece O'Riley. Steven graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. with aBachelor'sdegree in business administration. Steve worked in the College Food Service industry and was employed for over 30 years with Sodexo and later worked with Chartwells. He was most recently employed as a district manager with American Dining Creations. In addition to his parents, Steven was also predeceased by his sister Kristine Sulla and his brother, John O'Riley. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Kathleen Moran O'Riley, three children, Kaitlin E. O'Riley (Louis) of Guilderland, Bryan P. O'Riley (Hali) of Altamont and John F. "Jack" O'Riley of Guilderland, two sisters, Susan O'Riley of North Adams, MA, and Lauren Sparks of Taunton, MA, his father in law and mother in law, Francis and Rosemary Moran and brothers in law and sisters in law, Rosemary Curtin (Paul), Francis Moran (Francine) and Meghan DeVito (Michael) as well as many neices and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday 4-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 5216 Western Turnpike (Rt. 20) in Guilderland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 am, at St. Madeline -Sophie Church 3500 Carman Road, Guilderland. Steven's family respectfully request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at Stjude.org.
