Steve Trestick

Schenectady- Steve (Pops) Trestick, 88, passed away at Kingsway Arms on January 1, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born on July 16, 1926 in Schoharie, A son of the late Andrew and Mary Trestick. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Frank, John and sister Francis. Steve was employed by GE for over 39 years in the Transportation Dept retiring in 1985. He is survived by his sons Steven (Diane), Stanley (Nancy) Trestick.5 grandchildren,Ryan (Kim) Trestick, David, Joseph, Christopher and Anders Trestick and great grandchildren Libby, Madelyn and Ayven.His nephews Kevin and John and his nieces Lisa and April and his former wife Ann Hoffman Mastro . Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam On Friday January 9 2015 from 10to 12 pm. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Old Stone Fort Cemetery Schoharie NY in the spring. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Kingsway Manor and a special thank you to" his Alice" and to hospice for their excellent care. Memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Association. Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Saturday May 30 2015 at Old Stone Fort Cemetery Schoharieat 1045 am. the public is invited to attend
