Stephen F Hover

Duanesburg- Stephen “ Steve” F. Hover, 80, passed away at home peacefully on Christmas Day 2017. He was born in Queens, NY on September 5, 1937 a son of the late Frank and Dorothy Ibe Hover. Steve was a proud graduate from Manhattan Aviation Trade School NYC. For many years Steve was employed as a diesel mechanic in the commercial automotive industry at Peerless Midway. Steve is survived by his daughter Margaret “ Maggie” (Richard) Harrigan Jr, grandson Richard “Ritch” (Elissa) Harrigan III, and his great grandson Richard “Gerry” Harrigan IV. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday January 5, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 6 ,2018 at 10 am Kateri Tekakwitha Church (Union Street). Interment will be private.
