Stephanie P Miner Cohen

Stephanie P. Miner Cohen, 50 of Schenectady, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Stephanie was the daughter of Pearl Serson Miner of Schenectady and the late Richard M. Miner. She attended Draper High School and worked as an Aide with Oasis Daycare in Schenectady. In addition to her mother Pearl, Stephanie is also survived by her beloved son Steven Cohen of Schenectady, two sisters; Christine Miner (Brian Carroll) of Schenectady and Cynthia Miner of Massachusetts, and her brother; Bruce Miner of Rotterdam. Stephanie was a kind and gentle spirit who loved her son dearly and adored her cat Sebastian. She enjoyed music and dancing. Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Stephanie's memory to the Carman United Methodist Church, 2350 Hamburg St. Schenectady, NY 12303.
