Stella Dominelli Amiccuci Stella Dominelli Amiccuci, 94, entered the Gates of Heaven to be with her Lord, on November 14, 2017. Stella was born on December 4, 1922, and was a lifelong resident of Schenectady, New York. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Loretta (St. Angelo) Dominelli, and sister of the late Vincent G. Dominelli. She was married to Anthony F. Amiccuci Sr. for 40 years, who predeceased her. Stella was a hard working mother who considered her seven children her treasures, and instilled the value of family in them. She is survived by her loving 7 children, Ann Marie Jantsch of Connecticut, Loretta (Gerald ) De Angelus , Margaret (Robert) Schumaker, Anthony F.(Cheryl) Amiccuci, John (Cathy) Amiccuci, Linda Amiccuci, (Dave Becker, fiancé), David (Leah) Amiccuci, Fairfield, California, sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Stella graduated from Nott Terrace School, and worked over 40 years as a Toll Operator for New York Telephone Company. She was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Women Society, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seniors, choir, LORE, DAV, Telephone Pioneers, St. Clare’s Auxiliary, Ladies of Charity, the Sons of Italy Auxiliary, Notre Dame Alumni Mother’s Auxiliary. She cherished her family and was happiest when surrounded by them. Nothing made her happier than having her grandchildren and great grandchildren perform for her. She loved to bake, collect recipes, do hand work, travel, play games with the family, go to the casino, and play Bingo. She also had a love of music and enjoyed her times spent in Florida. For many years she was in charge of the Zeppole booth at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festa. She had a beautiful smile and personality. She will dearly be missed by her family and friends. Stella’s legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin on Monday, 10:15 from the funeral home, followed at 11 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt.
