Schenectady- Stanley E. Drezelo, 97, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 with care of Hospice at home. Born in Manhattan, NYC, he was the son of Joseph and Anna Drezelo. He graduated in Berne Knox Central School in Berne, NY. He then moved to Schenectady where he lived the remainder of his life. He was a self-employed building contractor for 44 years. Stanley was a founding member of St. Gabriel’s Church in Rotterdam, NY. He is survived by his significant other, Carol Lutza and was predeceased by his son, William Drezelo, his sisters; Rose Summers, Gertrude Best, and Amelia Marlowe, and his brother, James Drezelo. Survivors include his brothers; Joseph Drezelo Jr. and Paul Drezelo (Kay) of Gansevoort, NY, his sons; Stanley Drezelo Jr., of Schenectady, NY, David Drezelo of Bellevue, NE, Thomas Drezelo (Deidre) of Schenectady, NY, his daughters; Debra Bauer (Ronald) of Longmont, CO, Kathleen Lehman (John) of Schenectady, NY, Cynthia Goodrich (Anthony) of Schenectady, NY, his nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 9am to 10:15am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Schenectady, NY 12306. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11am at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Rotterdam. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Schenectady.
