Scott A. Trudeau Rotterdam - Scott A. Trudeau, 50, passed away suddenly Sunday,February 17,2013 at home. Born September 2, 1962 in Nassau, NY, the son of Fred and Velma Fisher Trudeau. He was educated in East Greenbush Schools. Recently, Scott worked as a clerk for Trudeau Tax Preparation. Previously he worked at the former Matt's Grill as a cook. He was a U.S. Navy veteran as a steel worker attached to Pacific Naval Amphibious Base, San Diego, CA. He was also a past member of the Rotterdam Eagles Club. Scott was quick-witted and was an avidfan of horse racing, boxing, Jeopardy on TV which he excelled at, and crossword puzzles. He loved to party and his friends loved to party with him. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Joseph E. Trudeau of Albuquerque, NM; nieces, Krystal and Heather Trudeau; and great-niece, Ayva Trudeau. Also survived by one cousin, Laurie Heritage of Virginia. Calling hours Friday morning, 9 to 11 a.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. Services will begin at 11 O'clock following the calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Central Avenue.
