Sarah Mcmunn

Guilderland- Sarah F. McMunn, 86, formerly of Carman Road passed away on August 1, 2013 at the Resurrection Nursing Home Castleton on Hudson. Sarah was born in Bari Italy a daughter of the late Thomas and Santa Chimenti Ruscigno. She was married to James "Jim "McMunn for 44 years until his passing on February 3 2003. She was employed as clerk with the State of New York until her retirement. Her family lovingly remembers her as a devoted wife mother and grandmother and always will be remembered for her contagious laughter and sense of humor. Sarah is survived by her two daughters Maria McMunn of Clifton Park and Christine (David) Cullam of Guilderland and a grandson Ryan James Cullam also of Guilderland. She also leaves behind a sister Catherine Ruscigno of Manhattan and a brother Joseph Ruscigno of Florida. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 5216 Western Turnpike on Monday August 5, 2013 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Funeral services for Sarah will be held on Tuesday August 6 2013 at the Funeral home at 10 am. Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at Saratoga National Cemetery will she will be laid to rest beside her husband. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and the nursing assistants at Resurrection Nursing Home for their loving care and humor during Sarah's stay there.
