Santina Salamone

Palm Harbor Fl- Santina "Tina" Salamone- 85, of Schenectady and Clearwater Fl passed away peacefully at Brookside Hospice House in Florida. She had been ill for several months. Tina was born in Schenectady on December 6, 1928 the only child of Anthony and Rose Sifo Salamone. Tina was raised and educated in Schenectady attending the former Mont Pleasant High School. Tina attended the Ellis School of Nursing and Russell Sage College receiving her RN in 1950 when she began her lifelong career at Ellis Hospital until her retirement in 1987. She was communicant of St Luke's Church and served as a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Tina is survived by her cousins Frank, Til , George Salamone and Family , Vincent Poppolizzo and family George Preston, JosephineSifo and Family and Paul Eimgh and Family and her beloved goddaughter Mary Conklin and Family and her good friend MaryLou Guerriero. A Memorial servicewill be held at a later date to be announced In keeping with Tina's memory memorial donations maybe made to the St Luke's Food Pantry , the City Mission of Schenectady or a charity of Ones choice.
