Sandra Ann Ferri

Rotterdam - Sandra Ann Ferri passed away on December 20, 2016 with her cousin by her side. Born in Albany on January 20, 1943 Sandra was the daughter of the late Ralph L. and Florence M. DeLorenzo Ferri. She wasa lifelong resident of Schenectady and Rotterdam. Sandra graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1960 and from Albany Business College in 1962. She was employed by the General Electric Company for 43 years and retired as an Administrative Assistant in 2005. Gardening was Sandra's passion. She loved the outdoors, especially golf with the Golfstruck league, snowshoeing, and walking in the woods. In addition to her parents Sandra was predeceased by several aunts and uncles of the DeLorenzo family and the Ferri family. She is survived by her best friend and cousin Rosemary D. Caswell of Delmar, and various cousins on both the DeLorenzo and Ferri side of the family. She especially valued her friend of many years Beverly Krommenhoek. She was thankful for Bill and Stacy Smith, Marilyn Anderson and Margaret Kniskern for their kindness, friendship, and helpfulness throughout her long illness. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from10:30 to 11:30 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., followed at 11:30am by a Memorial Service at the funeral home.
