Sandra L (Viscusi) Dimascio

January 2, 1943 — April 8, 2021

Pattersonville -Sandra L DiMascio, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 08, 2021. She was at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Schenectady, NY on January 2, 1943 she was the daughter of the late William and Rosina (Curcio) Viscusi. She graduated from Mohonasen High School and Colonna Cosmetology. She attended Abounding Grace Christian Church, Believers Church in Glenville and Chairs Bible Study. She cherished her trips to Old Orchard Beach, ME and spending precious time with her family, especially family dinners. She also loved her cats and spent her time volunteering at local shelters and fighting for animal rights. She was a stay at home mom for 18 years, then worked for 11 years at The General Electric Company and at Decker’s Landscaping as a secretary. On November 17, 1961 she was united in marriage to Antonio “Tony” DiMascio. She is survived by her loving family including her son Tony (Denise) DiMascio and grandson Anthony of Rotterdam, and daughter Tina (Michael) Makarowsky and grandchildren Dakota, Lexus, and Mackenzie of Perth. Her sister Marlene (Bonar) Halsdorf and sister-in-law Fran DiMascio. Along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and her cat Domino. Relatives and friends are invited to join in the celebration of her life at the Woestina Cemetery at 1397 Main Street, Rotterdam Junction on Wednesday at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pattersonville Fire Department or a local non-kill animal shelter of your choice.
