Sally M. Macdormand

Sally M. MacDormand, 92, of Rotterdam, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Born in Winchester, MA, Sally was the daughter of the late Gordo and Gertrude Horn. She attended local schools in Winchester and moved to Schenectady with her husband and children in 1962. Sally worked for several years with the Head Start Program at Draper School in Rotterdam. In addition to her parents, Sally was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert C. MacDormand, who died in 1996, her son Kenneth A. MacDormand, who died in 2014, eleven brothers and sisters and two grandchildren, Brandon R. MacDormand and Kaitlyn Low. Sally is survived by six children, David J. MacDormand (Patty) of Rotterdam, Robert G. MacDormand (Cecelia) of Rotterdam, Bonnie Campbell of Troy, Ruth Ann Low (Chris) of Rotterdam, Ronald B. MacDormand (Marilez) of Schenectady and Douglas J. MacDormand of Rotterdam, seven Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Sally will be laid to rest with her husband Robert at Schenectady Memorial
