Russell Golombiski

On March 2, 2026, Russell S. Golombiski peacefully passed from this life at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a brief illness. Until 1999, Russell lived at home with his mother, Anne Golombiski, then moved to Buzzo House, a residential facility of Schenectady ARC, which is now Liberty ARC. He resided there for 27 years and made meaningful friendships with housemates and staff. He treasured the time he spent with his family at dinners, holidays and other events over the years. He worked for many years at Pineridge Industries in Scotia. After he retired from Pineridge, he spent his days in activities at the Mapleridge Center in Rotterdam.
Russell is predeceased by his father, Sigmund R. Golombiski and his mother, Anne D’Orazio Golombiski. He is survived by his brother Kenneth R. Golombiski (Judith) and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services for Russell on Monday, March 9, at 12:00 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Turnpike, Guilderland. The Viewing will begin at 11 AM.
