Rosemarie Dipietro

December 4, 1936 — August 4, 2021

Schenectady- Rosemarie DiPietro, 84, was taken home in the loving arms of God on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter to the late Vittorio “Joe” Manfredi and Theresa Angilletta Manfredi. She was married to Joseph DiPietro of Rotterdam. Rosemarie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished the memories they made. Rosemarie enjoyed watching and being a part of her grandchildren’s activities. They could always count on her to be there to support and “cheer them on”. She loved to read, travel, watch the NY Yankees and reminisce about the “old” days growing up on Jefferson Street. Rosemarie had a cheerful spirit and was a loyal, loving, devoted woman who treasured her friendships. She had the biggest heart and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for you. Rosemarie was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1955 and worked at General Electric Company. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph of 61 years, her children; Diane DeFrancesco, David DiPietro (Amy), Denise Lagasse (Jim), and her grandchildren; Danielle, Gabrielle (Ryan), Jacob, Derek, Isabella, soon to be great-grandson, and her sister, Theresa Muth. She now joins in eternal life with her parents, Vittorio and Theresa, her brother, Joseph Manfredi, and her half brother, Peter Scambler.
