Rose M (Terrenzio) Terrell

Rotterdam - Rose Terrenzio Terrell, 93, passed away on December 28, 2016 at the Baptist Health, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Schenectady on December 24, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Liberata Terrenzio. Rose attended Schenectady Schools and was a proud employee of the General Electric Company where she worked as a grinder/cutter for 41 years. She was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late Dorwin "Doc" Terrell (2007). Rose was the beloved sister to the late Mary Catroppa (2011) and brother of the late Attilio Terrenzio (2004). She is survived by a niece and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. Rose was a strong spirited woman who enjoyed performing acts of kindness and generosity to those she knew as well as to several charities. Rose's passion was shopping, especially for others. She enjoyed sending cards to 100 acquaintances for every holiday throughout the year. She loved animals; her pet cats gave her great pleasure and she treated them as a special part of her family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Baptist who have been so caring and have brought her comfort in the time she spent there. Private services were held and Rose was buried in Memory's Garden.
